We have updated the site as of March and have finally added our information about crossing the Nullarbor. For you golfers, the information is here about the Links and for travel planning, we hope you will gain some hints for the crossing.
As of January 28th, we have completed "The Big One", "The Lap" or plainly, the entire perimeter road around Australia and we are so jazzed about it! It is a marvelous country full of spectacular visions and with warm, interesting people everywhere we've gone.
We are not through, we want to stay on and zero in with more detail. It will take a lifetime but we are up to the challenge and we remain,

The name we have given our caravan is our frame of mind…We love our home on wheels and the fact that we are in Australia. Roma Caravans worked with us to create just what we wanted. It is our “therapy” in retirement. “Roma therapy” to us is the sweet smell of our freedom and loving where we are in life!
Way Back When…
In 10 years we have made 11 trips Down Under.
Each trip we made was for at least one month; several for up to 7 weeks and each time as we’ve departed this magical land, we have blown a kiss to the island-continent-country with the promise that we would be back ~ soon!
We always loved our little piece of dirt on the Olympic Peninsula that was our home for 20 years. Our friends and family are dear to us and we will stay in touch. We will visit but for Lynn and I, there is a massive tug on our heart strings to Australia that we can’t ignore.
We are fortunate to have retired in good health, baring the usual things that come with age. We have had the blessings that careful planning provide for financial security and applied for permission to retire to Australia. It was not a simple process but, when there is a will and a desire, you try.
